Established in 2013 in Silicon Valley, USA, Kong Studios is a US game developer currently located in California, US. With the 2015 mobile puzzle RPG Dungeon Link release, Kong Studios also opened their Korean branch, Kong Studios Korea, to facilitate game development and operation. Later, Kong Studios began accelerating its growth by developing and servicing mobile adventure RPG Guardian Tales. 

Dungeon Link, which was highly received worldwide, reaching 5 million downloads and more than 15 billion won in sales. In 2020, the new mobile adventure RPG Guardian Tales, which shares the same worldview as Dungeon Link, is being serviced in more than 230 countries, including the USA, France, and Korea.
